Soul Gazing: A Simple Tantric Practice

"Soul gazing" is a simple, but profound, Tantric practice that is guaranteed to increase intimacy between partners.
Short, sweet, simple post, but maybe the most profound Tantric experience: looking into the eyes of your partner for long periods of time. Whenever I do it, it feels like my partner and I melt into one another. I lose all sense of boundaries, separateness. Nothing exists but his eyes, the beating of my heart and the halo that surrounds us.

Tantra Basics: How to Get Started

Greenwoman at Green Rootsdown helps beginners get started with Tantra.
I think a huge misnomer about Tantra…or meditation for that matter…is that it takes lots of knowledge and lots of time.

That’s not really true. It is like lots of other things in life. You start out small and as the effort rewards, you feel drawn toward more. It doesn’t feel like this huge effort, it feels like more of a good thing. Read more

Improve Sexual Intimacy with Yoga

Practicing yoga can bring intimate couples closer, which results in better sex. How does it work? Mark Whitwell, the author of Yoga of Heart: The Healing Power of Intimate Connection says:

"Normally, couples rush at each other and focus on orgasm, using sex as a stress-release mechanism," he says. Instead, he claims, sex can be more intimate and loving if both partners commit to a daily 20-minute yoga practice. "You begin to have better sex because you start to feel your whole body. Sex becomes about enjoying your partner as life, as feeling," he says. "That's the point. You feel better and your partner feels better. That's what yoga develops."

Whitwell explains more in this interview.
