Good sex is an art that requires time and attention to flourish. Busy and stressful lifestyles can take their toll and our sex lives are often the first thing to suffer. We could all do with more of the feel-good factor that comes from good sex.
Tantric sex seduces us with its promise of endless ecstasy. It guarantees orgasm and feelings of emotional satisfaction for women. And men find tantric techniques can help them to keep it up longer, even all night!
One goal of tantric sex is to expand your orgasms from local genital experiences to 'whole body' orgasms. These expanded orgasms are where you feel energy rushing up through your body and into the crown of your head.
The claims of tantra may seem hype - but before you dismiss it, try it out. You might end up having the last laugh - or better still, a big self-satisfied grin that comes from recollecting your sexual highs. Read more
Tantra teaches that lovemaking between a man and woman, when entered into with awareness, is a gateway to both sexual and spiritual ecstasy.

The Floating Meditation of Kundalini Tantra
Rev. David Howell explains how to do the floating exercise of Kundalini Tantra, which can be used to attain such things as astral projection, psychic powers, or even just stress relief.
The floating exercise is an important part of the meditation practices of kundalini Tantra, and as such is normally one of the first exercises taught to a new student. Mastery of the floating exercise can bring alignment to virtually any technique or physical world method wished. The floating exercise can also open the student to alignment to any spiritual world method or benefit imagined. It is important to remember that the simple method of active meditation allows one to find the total universe within and the connections to the total universe without (Microcosm within, Macrocosm without).
Examples of the things the floating exercise can attain include astral projection, alignment with some physical item the person wishes such as a new automobile, job, money, or other mundane requirement. In the spiritual realm, the student can attain mastery over clairvoyance, become a prophet, seer, psychic, or any other spiritual ability imagined. The Floating Exercise is one of the most powerful tools in the Tantric Path. A simpler and even more important benefit of the floating exercise is that of peace, joy, happiness, and internal rest. The floating exercise allows practitioners a space that is uniquely their own and gives them the space and place to practice happiness in a world of their own making. Read more

Mindfulness Meditation Benefits and Changes Brain Structures in 8 Weeks
Meditation isn't just good for the soul. It affects your body and mind, too. A recent study concluded that mindfulness meditation benefits and changes the brain structures associated with memory, sense of self, empathy and stress in just eight weeks.
Meditation is just a way to relax and maybe calm you down for the moment, right? Wrong. Not only will most regular meditators tell you that meditation makes them feel better emotionally and physically, but now there is also scientific evidence that regular meditation literally changes the body -- specifically, it changes the brain in ways that appear to be beneficial.
In a study published in the January 30 edition of Psychiatry Research: Neuroimaging, Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) researchers concluded that an eight week mindful meditation practice produced measurable changes in participants' brain regions associated with memory, sense of self, empathy and stress. This is the first study to document meditation-produced changes in the brain's grey matter over time. Read more

1. Keep your eyes open:
When we keep our eyes open during lovemaking, we can't hide our feelings, fears or our love. Hold hands and gaze into each others eyes for five minutes. Ecstatic Sex Versus Tantric Sex
Lisa Love compares Tantric sex to ecstatic sex. Ecstatic sex is not possible, she says, without intimacy and commitment.
Just as many people plunge into instant sex and end up having sex for all the wrong reasons, people dive into the pool of instant intimacy and end up in deep waters before they really know how to swim. Especially in the realm of tantra where sex, body work, and emotions are tied more deeply together, the waters can not only get deep, but rather murky really fast.
Why Tantra Once Required Commitment and Intimacy
To avoid throwing non-swimmers into deep waters, tantra, as it was orignally practiced in the East, ironically required a long period of time where the tantric partners got to know each other without any sexual contact whatsoever. An example of this might even include lying side by side next to each other in bed fully clothed for months. Why? Because giving into junk food sex and sex for all the wrong reasons is extremely easy and not much of a discipline at all. Learning to develop a deep bond of love, intimacy, integrity, honesty, and respect before having a sexual encounter, that is quite another matter. Read more
