How Tantric Yoga Practices Enhance Potency and Bliss in the Body
Tantric educator Grace Rosen explains how Tantric yoga practices easily enhance potency and bliss in the body.
Question for Grace:
How do PC muscle pull ups help with ejaculation control or fitness?
Answer:
WEBMD physician acknowledges that kegels for men may be beneficial for strengthening bladder control yet claims there is no evidence the kegel pull ups help with ED (erectile dysfunction) concerns.
Kegels are an inner exercise of engaging the web of 7 muscles I call the “lower bowl” of the body. This inner exercise is similar to a yogic banda or “energy lock” of the lower bowl of the body.
Tantric view is developing the agility and functioning of the lower bowl and the awareness of one’s levels or plateaus of arousal is a developmental milestone as important as the developmental milestone of anal sphincter awareness and consciousness of colonic peristalsis that enables us to have a bowl movement when nature calls. An Interview with Dr. Jonn Mumford
The Llewellyn Journal discusses the subject of Tantra with Dr. Jonn Mumford (Swami Anandakapila Saraswati), the author of books such as A Chakra & Kundalini Workbook and Ecstasy Through Tantra. Dr.Mumford is a genuine Tantric initiate and has been writing and teaching for four decades. After reading this interview, you will know about Tantra than many long-time practitioners.
The Llewellyn Journal: Dr. Mumford, your initiated name is Swami Anandakapila Saraswati. Your first book, Psychosomatic Yoga, was published in 1962. At that time there was very little interest in the spirituality of the East, although it exploded during that decade. Why do you think the popularity of Eastern spirituality has grown over the past 40 years?
Dr. Jonn Mumford: The 1960s represented a tremendous opening of the Western mind to concepts of Yoga, particularly through the popularization of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and his popular Transcendental Meditation or "TM" movement.
However, the soil in America had already been richly fertilized by Swami Vivekananda visiting at the turn of the nineteenth century and then by Swami Rama Tirtha who visited America shortly after Vivekananda. It is also worth remembering that American counter-cultural movements from the transcendentalists to the beats were drawn to Hindu and Buddhist philosophy. But it was not until the 1960s that teachings became widely available to the general public.
There is a popular belief is that no one, outside India, attempted to practice or integrate Tantra until the Post World War II period. However in 1906 the "Tantrik Order In America" published the International Journal: Tantrik Order. The copy I saw was a lush, 200-page journal. It had a cover in rich red, gold, and black, and was full of translations of Tantric texts and articles eulogizing love. Read more

Vajroli Tantric Yoga Technique for Sex Chakra
Yoga teacher Anmol Mehta details the benefits of Vajroli, a Tantric yoga technique to awaken the sex chakra, providing step-by-step instructions on how to practice it and some practical hints and tips for it.
Kundalini tantra yoga practice is essentially the high art of awakening the chakras to promote rapid spiritual advancement and personal mastery. It is is a misunderstanding to think of tantra yoga as just sexual yoga. Although there is an entire segment of this science dedicated to the use of sex as a means of awakening kundalini to accelerate spiritual evolution, tantra yoga is much more than just that. In fact, Kundalini Yoga (Hindu or Sikh versions) is actually Kundalini Tantra Yoga, and is essentially the use of tantric techniques to purify the body, balance the chakras and awaken kundalini.
The Tantra Yoga technique that I will detail today, is an example of a tantric technique which falls into the subcategory of sexual tantra, but as you will see, it is consistent with the overall aim of tantra yoga practice, which is to purify and balance the chakra system. If you are not familiar with chakras, you can first read the following article: Kundalini Yoga Seven Chakra System Overview.
Previously I have detailed a very powerful tantic technique, which when practiced sincerely and consistently, helps you raise the vibration of your sexual energy and helps you master your sexual dimension. You can read the details of that technique in the article: Ultimate Tantric Yoga Technique to Raise Sexual Energy - Sat Kriya. The practice I will detail today, is more subtle than Sat Kriya, but it is also an excellent tantric technique to help you harness and master your sexual energies. This technique is called Vajroli Mudra, and it is a fundamental part of tantra yoga practice. Read more
