3 Tantric Sex Tips for Men

Tantra has existed for more than 5,000 years. Tantra is defined as "the weaving and expansion of energy." Originally, Tantra was used to awaken the body's connection with the universe and to enhance spirituality. Today, Tantra is widely used to enhance emotional connection and sexual pleasure. When used correctly, Tantra can increase intimacy between couples and create intense erotic states. Here are three Tantric sex practices that men can use to increase emotional intimacy and sexual pleasure for their partners.

Unplugged Tantra: 3 Easy Steps to Recharging for Two

Tantra teacher Suzie Heumann describes three Tantric practices for improving your emotional awareness, your trust for your partner, and your memory for faces and social experiences.
It’s a crazy life and you probably don’t need to be reminded about it again. The thing is, we get stuck in the rut like hamsters on a wheel, and we can’t see clearly enough to get creative about shifting our experiences. How do you integrate everything you want to do in life and have less stress? Here are some ideas that will help you loosen those wound-up strings, increase your love juice, help you relax better at any given time and radically improve your sex life. Sound too good to be true? Only you will be able to tell, once you give it a try.

What do you think when you hear the word Tantra? You probably think: “A lot of sex for a long period of time.” You can go there if you want to but Western Tantric practices are more about taking the goals out of sexual activities, bringing in the practices of consciousness and relating consciously, sensual expression and the experience of spending time in the realms of oneness with, well, everything. Everything includes your lover, partner, your breath, their body, a “higher power” and even maybe the whole universe. In these times of global change, feeling more a part of everything around you helps to recharge and replenish You. Read more

Tantric Eye Gazing: Creating Instant Intimate Connections

Intimacy is supposed to take a long time to develop, but there is a shortcut: eye gazing, sometimes called soul gazing. Women Awakened explains the practice.
What if I told you, that you can create almost instant intimate connections with just about anyone? Most people wouldn’t believe me, because they imagine that finding someone they can connect deeply with takes time and effort.

I'd like to share with you a simple exercise called Soul-Gazing, which was introduced to me by Tantric Master, Steve Piccus, designer of a system of tantra called White Tiger Tantra.

Whether you are currently in a relationship and have lost the passion or you are out looking for a partner, Soul-gazing allows you to connect heart-to-heart, soul-to-soul in a matter of minutes. Read more

The Power of Eye Gazing

One of Tantra Gal's tips of the day is about the power of eye gazing. I completely agree that it's a simple practice that can bring you to enlightenment all by itself.
I have been practicing eye gazing a lot lately. Yesterday I did a session for an hour. I have been practicing with both men and women. Each experience has been beautiful and profound. This simple practice cuts though all illusion and opens the doors to Truth. If this was the only Tantric practice you ever did I believe you could reach enlightenment. While it is usually done with a partner it can also be done solo in a mirror. I discovered the mirror gazing when I was 13. Give it a try and let me know what you discover. Read more

Tantric Breathing Exercise

David Mott at Dad's House attended his first white Tantra session on Valentine's Day. Here's what he experienced.
When it was time for the couples’ tantric breathing exercise at my Valentine’s Day beginners white tantra workshop, I paired myself up with the woman I shared the most chemistry with. Even though we were total strangers before that night, we felt at ease in each other’s presence. To top it off, she was attractive. A new-age hottie, for sure.

We sat on the floor with knees raised, leaning back on weird chairs that supported our backs. (A couch or pile of pillows could have sufficed.) The chairs were side by side, allowing us to face each other. We were told to place our right hand on the other’s heart chakra, and our left hand on the other’s right hand, making a circuit with our arms. The way we sat enabled us to rest our right arm on the other’s bent right leg. It was quite comfortable, if you can handle having a stranger’s palm in the center of your breast.

Next, we gazed into each other’s eyes, and did tantric breathing in unison. The effect was entrancing. Read more

The Science behind Tantric Eye Gazing

Eye gazing - looking into the eyes of your partner for long periods of time - is an ancient Tantric practice. Science has now discovered why it's such an effective bonding technique.
The reason you like gazing into your lover's eyes may be because you used to gaze into your mother's eyes when you were an infant, since this released a comforting brain hormone, which is also stimulated by touches and hugs. And what if those eyes you're gazing into are blue?

Researchers have learned that the brain chemical oxytocin is released through touch between mother-infant and male- female pair bonds. It is released during hugging and pleasant physical touch, and may actually change the brain in a way that helps human social behavior.

Researcher Kai MacDonald says, "That's why oxytocin is sometimes called 'the love hormone.' It's said that the eyes are the window to the soul…they certainly are the window to the emotional brain. We know that the eye-to-eye communication—which is affected by oxytocin—is critical to intimate emotional communication for all kind of emotions— love, fear, trust, anxiety." Read more

Soul Gazing: A Simple Tantric Practice

"Soul gazing" is a simple, but profound, Tantric practice that is guaranteed to increase intimacy between partners.
Short, sweet, simple post, but maybe the most profound Tantric experience: looking into the eyes of your partner for long periods of time. Whenever I do it, it feels like my partner and I melt into one another. I lose all sense of boundaries, separateness. Nothing exists but his eyes, the beating of my heart and the halo that surrounds us.

To do this is simple...just gaze into the left eye, said to be the window to the soul. Read more
